Spinal Decompression Therapy

Do you suffer from arm pain or leg pain, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, neck pain or back pain?  If so, you may be suffering from a herniated disc, bulging disc, sciatica, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, diffuse cervical bulge, spinal degeneration or arthritis in the spine. Spinal Decompression Therapy might just do the trick.

During your treatment

The table moves in a controlled manner while applying a gentle distraction force to the targeted area of the spine (the injured/herniated disc). A computer controls the distraction force which is applied in between periods of relaxation. This gently reduces pressure on the spinal joints and pinched nerves, although this happens in small increments each treatment, over a period of 4 to 6 weeks, the results can be quite dramatic.

Over time the disc reshapes itself, heals and gets the proper flow of nutrients.

Spinal Decompression is an alternative FDA approved treatment option that has shown very good results!

girl spineThe cycles of decompression and partial relaxation, over a series of visits, promote the diffusion of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids from the Spinal decompression-2outside of the discs to the inside. These nutrients enable the torn and degenerated disc fibers to begin to heal.

For the low back, the patient lies comfortably on his/her back or stomach on the decompression table, with a set of nicely padded straps snug around the waist and another set around the lower chest. For the neck, the patient lies comfortably on his/her back with a pair of soft rubber pads behind the neck. Many patients enjoy the treatment, as it is usually quite comfortable and well tolerated.
